Matt Hart

My passion for fitness began when I was 16 when I started martial arts. Over the years I have studied many different disciplines including Taekwondo, Karate, Kung Fu and Kickboxing and for 5 years I competed heavily in Taekwondo and full contact Kickboxing.
I then moved onto running and after completing my first marathon in 2008 (The London Marathon) I soon became hooked. The appeal of aiming for a personal best time wasn't really there. Instead I wanted to push myself in terms of distance. So I started ultra marathon running.
I have now run many ultra marathons. It doesn't just stop with running though. I have also taken part in cycling challenges, open water swims, triathlons, white collar boxing and I'm now looking towards my next new challenge.
My job enables me to meet and train some amazing people including the Leicester Tigers. I do Sports massage and am the fitness coach for Hinckley Football Club (Hinckley AFC). But of all the things I do training my clients to reach their own personal goals is the most rewarding.
